PLOT:
In an isolated Oregon mining town, a young boy suddenly becomes distant from everyone around him, including his teacher and classmates, following a mysterious animal attack that leaves both his father and younger brother ailing from an unknown contagion. His cold behavior gains the attention of his teacher, who suspects that the boy may be the victim of domestic abuse. But, upon further investigation, she learns a much more horrific truth, one that has connections to an ancient legend held by the natives of the area, one that preys on human flesh and has the potential to spread.
