PLOT:
Sent to Czechoslovakia to assist in the defection of renegade Soviet General Georgi Koskov, MI6 agent James Bond finds himself dragged into a dangerous conspiracy involving Kara Milovy, a charming blonde cellist. And as a secret KGB directive threatens to undermine relations between Moscow and the West, Bond suspects the Russians are in league with a traitorous arms dealer interested in making a fortune. As a result, a frenzied, risky mission from Vienna to Tangier and then into war-torn Afghanistan begins. But with Soviet and Western intelligence on the brink of conflict, can James Bond prevent World War III?
